How To: A Fab Everyday Look

image

Have you ever had trouble in the mornings deciding how you should do you’re makeup or what colors to use? But you just don’t have enough time. All that end’s today because im here to solve your problem. On today’s blog post I will be showing you How to Create a “Everyday Look” for eye makeup that will only take 10 min! For this fab look I will be using the Naked Pallete 2 from Urban Decay. I will also give you helpful tips along the way. Hope you all find this tutorial helpful. Its time to get fab, let’s begin.

This is the look I will be teaching you how to do, step by step in pictures and text.

Step 1: Apply Primer

image

You can apply any primer you want. In this tutorial I will be using “Anti-Aging” From Urban Decay primer potion. Get about 2 small squeeze’s on one of your finger.
image

TIP: I recommend the index finger for best results.
Once done, rub gently both of the index finger’s together. You will now have primer on both fingers.
image

Then apply to your eye’s. I recommend using it on all you’re eyes, including above the crease. Apply it gently, leaving the eye lid and brow bone soft.
image

Once done, it should look something like this.
image

Ps: Excuse my eye brows. I don’t get them done a lot.

Step 2: Apply “Foxy”

image

You will apply “Foxy” with a petite eye shadow brush. You will apply twice. For my brushes I will be using Eco Tools. If you don’t have a similar brush like this, anything small and soft brush will work.

image

TIP: Remember to tap the excess off to avoid eye shadow on you’re lower eyes/cheeks.

Start by applying the eye shadow on your inner eye. Also apply to the inner lower lash line.
image

TIP: Make sure you apply gentle for best results.

Step 3: Apply “YDK”

image

I will be using a flat concealer brush for this eye shadow. If you do not have one similar, use the flattest brush you have.

image

You will start by applying the eye shadow YDK on your eye lid making you’re way down. You will apply twice. Apply YDK to your lower lash line as well.
image

TIP: Use Makeup wipes if you need too. We all make mistakes. I recommend Loreal Paris wipes for best results!

Step 4: Apply “Snakebite”

image

On this eye shadow. I will be using a Eye Shading Brush. If you don’t have one similar. Use a thick upper oval shaped brush.

image

You will start to apply the eyeshadow. Start at the end of your eye called the outer edge. You will apply twice as well. You will make your way up applying to your crease and above crease as well.
image

Once done, it should look this.
image

TIP: Apply very slow and gentle for best results.

Step 5: Blending
This step is all about learning how to blend the eye shadow. To create the look you want people to compliment and say “I Love You’re Eye Shadow” or “Totes Cute”. In this step I will be using a Angled Crease Brush.

image

TIP: You can always use your index finger for blending. Just do it gentle and slow.

The key is to start with your darkest shadow. Which in this case is “Snakebite”. Place it in the crease focusing on your corner.
image

image

TIP: Start from the outer edge making you’re way up to the crease and finishing on the upper inner eye.

Step: 6 Apply “Busted”

image

This is the major last step before applying Mascara. I will be using the Naked 2 Brush that came with the Pallete.

image

You will apply “Busted” on the outer edge of the eye.
image

Should look something like this.
image

TIP: Fix the errors with a Makeup Wipe.

Step 7: Adding Mascara
You will add mascara on your eyelashes and your lower lashes as well. I use Rocket by Maybelline. Its my fave!

Then just add foundation, blush, eyeliner etc and you’re done!
